How Is Implant Treatment Performed?

Before this treatment, a detailed examination and x-ray is absolutely necessary. For treatment, measurements of the jaw bones and remaining teeth are taken. There are two types of options for placement of dental implants. After the implant is placed, the first is a one-step procedure, and the cap is temporarily attached. Secondly, in the two-stage process, after the dental implant is inserted, it is covered with the gingiva and left to heal.
Prosthetic heads are attached later. For both options, a temporary bridge is placed and a healing period of 3 months for the lower jaw and 6 months for the upper jaw is expected. In some cases, newly made teeth can be placed on dental implants immediately. With the dental implant, the patient can speak and eat with confidence.
